Maggie Kuhn (1905-1995)

Little did I know 27 years ago that I would be reflecting back on the day when I met Maggie Kuhn in Boston at a seminar entitled A Celebration of Agelessness. I was quite taken with her ability to demonstrate the fact that young and old are more alike than would appear. Her work as the founding member of the Gray Panthers inspire and motivate us in our commitment to be ever mindful of the work we do at Dignified Aging; focusing always on the positive aspects of aging and respecting each persons right to self determination. Through the Gray Panthers grassroots efforts to combat age discrimination, Maggie Kuhn was the voice of change for seniors throughout our country.

It is an honor for us to dedicate a page of our web site in memory of Maggie Kuhn with deep appreciation and for all of her tireless efforts for seniors.
